A detector detects a rotational speed of the motor 2 for the open/close driving of a sunroof 22 by means of a motor number-of-revolution sensor 7, and detects the pinching in the opening/closing operation of the sunroof 22 in accordance with reduction in the rotational speed. A differential value of the rotational speed corresponding to an opening/closing position of the sunroof 22 is prestored (S7). A differential value of an actual rotational speed Nra of the motor 2 is integrated for the correction of the rotational speed, so that a corrected rotational speed Nfd (n) can be obtained (S5). When the amount of the decrease of the rotational speed Nfd (n) of the motor 2 from a reference rotational speed Nb exceeds a threshold for determining the pinching, the pinching is detected (S6).
