Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe bending machine and a pipe bending method by which small radius bending process of pipes can be carried out without setting a push out space at a pipe end portion and yield rate can be improved.
SOLUTION: In the pipe bending machine having pulling and bending means carrying out pulling and bending process by pressing a pulling and bending mold 1 and clump mold 2 against at one end of a pipe P, pressing and bending means carrying out pressing and bending process by pressing chuck 3 against the other end of the pipe, side bending means carrying out side bending process by pressing a wiper 4 and a side bending mold 5 against a side face of the pipe P, the side bending mold 5 has stopper 8 engaging with the other end of the pipe P projecting and retracting from a pipe pressing face 51.
