Abstract:
To provide a single operation type pipe connecting device whose clip is hardly detached when water pressure is applied, and also to provide the clip used for the pipe connecting device.
The pipe connecting device has: a socket 12 attached with a flange 11; a plug 15 attached with a flange 14; and a clip 16A linking the flanges 11, 14 with each other. The clip 16A has a window hole 22 with which the opposing flanges 11, 14 can be engaged. A projected part 16a is arranged in a corner part of the window hole 22. When water pressure is applied to the plug 15 and the flanges 11, 14 are separated from each other, the flange 14 engages with the projected part 16a to prevent the clip 16A from being substantially detached.
