Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe coupling for a resin pipe such that when a socket is separated, an O ring never falls, and anybody can properly fasten a cap nut, which is never loosened.SOLUTION: A pipe coupling consists of an A socket, a B socket, a cap nut 3, and an O ring 4. The A socket comprises a pipe insertion part 1a on one end side and a fitting part to which a fitting projection part of the B socket is fitted on the other end side, and has a male screw formed at an outer periphery. The B socket comprises the fitting projection part at one end, and a flange to contact an end wall 3f of the cap nut 3 closely to the other end thereof. Then the B socket comprises a pipe insertion part 2d on the other end side, and a groove in which the O ring 4 is fitted at the fitting projection part. A lock material 1d is stood nearby the male screw of the A socket so as to properly fasten the cap nut 3, and a first projection and a second projection to contact the lock material 1d are provided on an end face of the cap nut 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
