To provide a pipe connecting/disconnecting device and a pipe connecting/disconnecting method, for easily connecting and disconnecting refrigerant pipes communicating an indoor unit and an outdoor unit, without leaking a refrigerant.
This pipe connecting/disconnecting device comprises first and second tubular valves respectively connected with the pipes at one end and connected with each other at the other end, and a connecting member for connecting the first valve and the second valve, and connects or disconnects two pipes. The first valve and the second valve comprise valves for opening and closing the circulation in the pipes, at least one of the first valve and the second valve has two holes for communicating with the inside of the pipe between the valve and the other end, and the outside, and two holes are respectively provided with a third valve and a forth valve.
