To improve both of heat resistance and chemical resistance of a smooth surface that allows the passage of hot water or chemical solution.SOLUTION: A pipe joint A is disinfected with one or both of hot water and chemical solution. The pipe joint A has a joint body 1 connected to a source B for one or both of hot water and chemical solution through a pipe body C. The joint body 1 has a channel 11 that allows the passage of one or both of the hot water and chemical solution flowing in from the source B through the pipe body C, and a smooth surface 11a formed on the surface of the channel 11.
