Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint which can surely inhibit a fluid tube from coming off even though a fluid tube having a predetermined outer diameter but having a slightly different wall thickness due to manufacturing errors or the like is connected thereto.
SOLUTION: When an insert member 20 is inserted in a fluid passage 72 of a fluid tube 70, the fluid tube 70 increases its diameter due to its tapered part 34, and when a female thread part 52 of a nut member 48 is meshed with a male thread part 16 in a body part 14, a plurality of edge parts 58, 60 are engaged so as to be wedged into the outer periphery of the fluid tube 70 whose diameter is increased by the tapered part 34. Thereby it is possible to prevent the fluid tube 70 from coming off from the pipe joint 10.
