Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct a long-length pipe highly precise bending with good efficiently by constituting a chuck unit so as to be movable in the direction of the axial center.
SOLUTION: At the time of bending a pipe P, first a bending roller R2 for each bending unit 2 is made into an open state keeping apart from a die-roll R1 and is set up into a state being apart from the part wherein one end side of a pipe P is bent. At this state, the chuck unit 6 is moved to nearly half position of the bending number of the predetermined single pipe P and the pipe P supplied from a pipe hopper is held by a chuck unit 6. Next, one end side of the pipe P is inserted and passed into the each notch of the restraining part 3-1 of a supporting plate 3 matched to the same phase, a bending gear G2, a twisting gear G3, and a twisting plate 4. Succeedingly, the nearest position to be worked to one end of the pipe P, is made to be coincided with the caliber position of the die roll R1 and the bending roller R2 and the pipe P is held by making move the bending roller R2 toward the die-roll R1 side.
