Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expandable joint capable of securing a function layer over the whole area of a portion that is not covered with an electric fusion joint after connection out of a connection pipe.SOLUTION: An expandable joint includes: an outer cylinder 10 whose end part 10A at one side in a pipe axis direction is connected to a first connection joint 80; an inner cylinder 20 whose end part 20A at the one side in the pipe axis direction is inserted into the outer cylinder 10, and an end part 20B at the other side in the pipe axis direction is connected to a second connection joint 90; and a sealing member 30 disposed in a recess part 24 formed over the whole circumference on any one of an inner peripheral surface of the outer cylinder 10 and an outer peripheral surface of the inner cylinder 20, and capable of sliding with respect to the other one. The outer cylinder 10 and the inner cylinder 20 can be relatively displaced in the pipe axis direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
