Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston engine for miniaturizing a casing of a piston engine.
SOLUTION: An approximate linear mechanism 10 comprises a first horizontal directional arm 11 for making rotary motion around a fulcrum Q, and a second horizontal directional arm 12 having a third movement connecting point M connected to this first horizontal directional arm 11 in a body part 12b. The first horizontal directional arm 11 is arranged so as to cross the approximate linear motion direction of a second movement connecting point B, and an end part 11m is rotatably connected at the third movement connecting point M of the second horizontal directional arm 12. The second movement connecting point B is arranged in one end part of the second horizontal directional arm 12, and the second movement connecting point B is connected to a piston 1 by a piston connecting member 3. A first movement connecting point A of the second horizontal directional arm 12 is reciprocatably supported by a linear motion guide 20, and the linear motion guide 20 reciprocates on a straight line X-X in the figure (4-1) together with approximate linear motion of the second movement connecting point B.
