Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston pump that has a high self-priming capability at low cost.SOLUTION: A piston pump according to the present invention comprises: a cylinder block to be rotated by a main shaft; a plurality of cylinder bores provided in the cylinder block; a plurality of pistons slidably inserted into the plurality of cylinder bores respectively; and a valve plate in contact with one end surface of the cylinder block and including a plurality of through-holes. One end of each of the through-holes is provided at a position that can communicate with the cylinder bores, and another end of each of the through-holes is provided at a position on the outer edge side of the valve plate with respect to the one end of each of the through-holes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
