Abstract:
To provide a piston which improves sliding with a member such as a cylinder, and improves durability and fuel efficiency, and to provide a slide coating structure which improves the slide of a sliding portion of members contacting each other.
In the piston 6 which has a coating 6a that improves sliding on a surface of a substrate of a sliding portion, in the coating 6a, a resin material to which a nanocarbon member is added is subject to cure treatment and in close contact with the substrate, and the nanocarbon member whose edge projects from the surface of the coating 6a exists in a vicinity of a surface of the coating 6a.
