Abstract:
To provide a low-cost piston supercharger, capable of reducing the weight of pistons and cylinders, preventing seizure and galling from occurring, and being easily surface treated to realize a wear resisting smooth sliding surface.
In this piston supercharger, the pistons 11 and 12 and cylinders 3 and 4 of the piston supercharger of an internal combustion engine are formed of aluminum or an aluminum alloy, and resin films 13 and 14 are formed on the surfaces of the pistons 11 and 12.
