Title:
PIT CONSTRUCTING METHOD FOR UNDERGROUND WATER STORAGE TANK
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3256002
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To construct the pit of an underground water storage tank readily at a low cost even in the soft ground containing underground water by closing the lower opening of a tubular body provided as a kettle part, and finally providing the pit.
CONSTITUTION: When the ground G, where an underground water storage tank 1 is provided, is dug, a kettle part, which is provided at the excavation bottom, is formed of a tubular body 4, which is opened at the upper and lower sides. When the excavation reaches the required depth, a bottom plate 8 of the water storage tank 1 is fixed to the tubular body 4 so as to form a unitary body. Then, the level of the ground water is lowered by the draining of the water from the tubular body 4. Thereafter, the lower opening of the tubular body 4 is closed with a closing plate 9. Concrete 10 is applied thereon. The tubular body 4 constituting the kettle part is utilized as the intact state and made to function as a pit P of the water storage tank 1.
