SOLUTION: In the planographic printing plate with a physical developing nucleus layer between a surface-roughened and anodically oxidized aluminum substrate and a silver halide emulsion layer, nitrate or nitrite ions are contained in the physical developing nucleus layer or between the aluminum substrate and the physical developing nucleus layer.
