In a plant growth apparatus having a plant growth container 12 for growing plants and a means 13a for detecting environments in the container 12, the environment information in the plant growth container and information related to the growth of the plants are transmitted through a communication means 16 to an outer information-storing and processing means 24 through the communication means 16. The outer information-storing and processing means 24 performs services for processing information from a plurality of the plant growth apparatuses 19 into useful information, and then delivering the processed information.
