To provide a plasma display apparatus capable of enhancing contrast characteristics and a method of driving the same.
In the plasma display apparatus and the driving method, when a plasma display panel displays a screen with one frame comprised of a plurality of sub-fields including reset periods, different reset pulses are supplied to a first scan electrode and a second scan electrode in the reset period of an arbitrary sub-field among the plurality of sub-fields.
