PURPOSE: To obtain a plate making device for a video picture which is simplified exclusively for color film formation by performing only processing of one RGB signal as processing after gradation corrections when forming a color film the video picture.
CONSTITUTION: One of three RGB signals after gradation corrections is switched by a selector 13A and stored in frame memory 39A through an AD converter 38A. Then, a scanning line interpolation part 40A interpolates scanning lines to obtain a high-density signal, which is inputted to a color film forming device 1A through an interface 41A. The color film forming device 1A inputs the high- density signal to a gamma correction part 12A through a DA converter 11A to make gamma corrections of three RGB signals successively. Those signals after the gamma corrections are exposed to the color film by an exposing part 14 successively to form the color film of the video signal.
