Title:
PLATFORM IN SKIING GROUND
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH1035485
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To enable a skier to get on and off a carrier smoothly by forming a platform of an endless belt moving in the same direction as the direction of the advancing carrier and varying the speed of the endless belt with an accelerating/decelerating means connectivity disposed for the endless belt in a predetermined length region of the endless belt.

In a platform A on the side of the foot of a mountain, a skiier 7 stands by at a stand-by position. When a carrier 5 passes by a predetermined position, the skiier 7 transfers to the proximal end side of the front half part 1A. The front half part 1A is sequentially accelerated not to excead the speed of the carrier 5. While the skiier 7 transfers to the front half part 1A, the carrier 5 advancing with the fixed speed approaches the skiier 7. When the skiier 7 transfers to the rear half part 1a, the rear half part 1a transfers with the fixed speed slower than the speed of the carrier 5. Thus, in the rear half part 1a, the carrier 5 overtakes the skiier 7. Then, since a difference between the speed of the skiier 7 and the speed of the carrier 5 is small, the skiier 7 can smoothly transfer to the carrier 5 without impacts.
