Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve work efficiency while reducing a burden of a worker at the time of assembling work and the like by using a plier for fitting/removing a snap ring, so that a point end of the plier can be easily inserted into an engaging hole of the snap ring without gripping a handle lever.
CONSTITUTION: A nearly sector-shaped restricting plate 6 having two arc-shaped guide holes 7, 8 is mounted by a shaft 11 on one side of a pivotal shaft 5 of connecting a pair of handle levers 1, 2 protruded with engaging pins 3, 4 in the point end. A fixing screw 9 is tightenably mounted on a side surface of the one handle lever 1 through the guide hole 7, and a pin 10 is fixed to a side surface of the other handle lever 2 through the guide hole 8.
