Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent water from being penetrated through the ventilating hole of a plug cap for ignition plug into a plug hole.
CONSTITUTION: The base end side of an insulating resin pipe 2 is formed into a double wall structure consisting of an outer wall 8 inscribing a rain cover part 14 fitted onto the insulating resin pipe 2 and an inner wall 7 fitted onto a high-voltage cable 42, and the part closer to the bottom part of a bottomed annular space 10 formed by the double wall structure is partitioned into two sections by a pair of ribs 12. A ventilating air hole 13 communicating with a plug hole 3 is provided within one section of the annular space 10, and a through-hole 19 provided on the rain cover 15 is arranged on the section different from the air hole 13 of the annular space 10.
