Abstract:

To readily and freely obtained an acrylic fiber plush fabric having an uneven surface pattern of high-class feeling while satisfying qualities required by a fake fur.

This plush fabric is characterized in that the plush fabric has spun yarn containing ≥40 wt.% of acrylic fiber as pile yarn, comprises treated yarn treated with a swelling agent for an acrylic fiber and untreated yarn, the treated yarn forms recessed parts and the untreated yarn forms projected parts to provide the plush fabric with an uneven pattern. This method for plush fabric production is characterized in that the pile surface of a plush fabric having spun yarn containing ≥40 wt.% of acrylic fiber as pile yarn is printed with a printing paste containing the swelling agent for an acrylic fiber, subjected to print processing, provided with an uneven pattern and the pile surface is subjected to a plush finish processing for fake fur.
