Abstract:
To provide a pneumatic tire exhibiting high-level grip performances on dry, wet, icy and snowy road surfaces.
The pneumatic tire employs for a tread an expanded rubber composition comprising (A) 100 pts.wt. of a rubber component comprising a diene-based rubber and, incorporated thereinto, (B) 0.1-30 pts.wt. of at least one nitrogen-containing compound selected from the group consisting of specific lactams, specific imidazoles, specific ureas and specific pyrrolidones, (C) 0.1-50 pts.wt. of a protonic acid and/or a phenol derivative and (D) a blowing agent and a blowing aid.
