The pneumatic tire 1 includes: a crown land region 5 in which a triangular crown block 5a is formed by lateral grooves 8 extending over the entire width of the crown land region 5; a middle land region 6 in which a triangular middle block 6a is formed by lateral grooves 9 extending over the entire width of the middle land region 6; and a shoulder land region 7 in which a shoulder block 7a is formed by lateral grooves 10 extending over the entire width of the shoulder land region 7 and at an angle of not less than 70 degrees with respect to a tire circumferential direction. The shoulder block 7a is subdivided into an inner piece 11 and an outer piece 12 by being provided with a shoulder secondary groove 13 extending at a position in a distance of 3-15 mm outside in a tire axial direction from a shoulder main groove 4 at an angle of not more than 10 degrees with respect to the tire circumferential direction. The outer piece 12 includes a shoulder siping 15 extending at an angle of not less than 70 degrees with respect the tire circumferential direction.
