Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of improving pitch cut-resistance and durability during run-flat traveling while maintaining good riding comfort during normal traveling.SOLUTION: A tire 2 includes: a pair of load support layers 14 each of which is positioned on an inner side in an axial direction with respect to a side wall 6; a pair of first reinforcement plies 24; and a pair of second reinforcement plies 26. A carcass ply 40 is folded around a core 36 of a bead 10 from an inner side to an outer side in an axial direction. In the carcass ply 40 folded in the manner are formed a main part 42 and a folding part 44. The first reinforcement plies 24 extend from near a tip 53 of an apex 38 to near the core 36 along an inner surface in the axial direction of the main part 42. The second reinforcement plies 26 extend from near the tip 53 of the apex 38 to near the core 36 along an outer surface in the axial direction of the folding part 44.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
