Abstract:
PURPOSE: To form a display region, where a character or the like is displayed, in the external surface of a side wall part without worsening durability.
CONSTITUTION: In a pneumatic tire, in a display region P of displaying a character, code and drawing and in a nondisplay region Q excepting the display region P of an external surface S in a side wall part 4, an external surface S1 of the display region P is set to height equal to an external surface S2 of the nondisplay region Q, and further a difference between surface roughness R1 of the external surface S1 of the display region P and surface roughness R2 of the external surface S2 of the nondisplay region Q is set to 50μm or more by JISBO60l in the 2.5mm reference length L.
