Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of improving steering stability during straight traveling and cornering traveling, while achieving the steering stability during straight traveling and that during cornering traveling with an appropriate balance.SOLUTION: In a pneumatic tire, both of radial direction inner ends 35b, 36b of inner/outer side reinforcement layers 35, 36 are both located more on an inner side in the radial direction from radial direction outer ends 22a of a filler 22, so that a sidewall portion 14 is reinforced in a wide range to increase rigidity and both of straight advance steering stability and turning steering stability are improved. Moreover, since the radial direction outer end 35a of the inner side reinforcement layer 35 is located more on an outer side in the radial direction from the radial direction outer end 36a of the outer side reinforcement layer 36, the straight advance steering stability is further improved. As a result, a driver can travel comfortably even on an ordinary road where a ratio of straight traveling is larger than that of cornering traveling.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
