PURPOSE: To efficiently transport a pulverulent body in pneumatic transport of slaked lime or the like used for an exhaust gas processing device, by fractionally forming a shock wave in a pipe and causing an avalanche phenomenon before growth of such a deposit layer as to choke the pipe.
CONSTITUTION: Air compressed by an air compressor 1 is mixed in an accelerating machine 4 with a pulverulent body, fed by the action of a mixer 6 from a hopper 7, passes through a transport pipe 2 with the pulverulent body and is pneumatically transported to a supplied device 3 of pulverulent body. At ths time, air compressed by an air compressor 10 fractionally causes a change of relatively small pressures in a pipe 2 through purge pipes 51W5n correspondingly to open-close operation of many scanning valves 9 which are successively and periodically open-close operated, then a pressure wave caused by this change of pressure artificially causes a small avalanche during the time for a deposit layer not fully in growth in the transport pipe 2, thus the pulverulent body can be smoothly transported in the pins 2 without causing a state of shocking the pipe.
