Abstract:
To provide a polarizing plate that has preferable polarization functions and superior characteristics such as optical characteristics, heat resistance and chemical resistance, can be made into a thin film and is obtained by a simple method, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same.
The polarizing plate is formed by laminating norbornene-based polymer films with an adhesive layer that contains (A) a polymer component having a repeating unit derived from a (meth)acrylate having an alicyclic structure and (B) a polyvinyl alcohol component.
