Abstract:
To provide a polyarylene sulfide resin composition reduced in water absorption properties and anisotropy, and excellent in dimensional stability, and a part for an optical pickup obtained from the resin composition.
The composition comprises a polyarylene sulfide resin (A) having a substantially linear structure and a melt viscosity not higher than a specific value and a polyarylene ether resin (B), where the particle size of (B) dispersed in the matrix of (A) is not larger than 1 μm on average.
