Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a polyarylene sulfide resin composition which has high strength and modulus of elasticity with low specific gravity, has good moldability and can give excellent dimensional accuracy and dimensional stability.
CONSTITUTION: This resin composition contains principal constituents comprising the following: 100 pts.wt. polyarylene sulfide resin (A), and 200-10 pts.wt. filler (B) in the form of a whisker having a specific gravity of at most 3.0 and an aspect ratio of 3 to 1,000.
