Abstract:
To prepare a polycarbonate sheet that has excellent mechanical properties, heat resistance and transparency that the polycarbonate originally retains, in addition to uniform thickness, good hue, high resistance to hydrolysis and excellent appearance.
A polycarbonate resin composition comprising (i) 1-99 wt.% of a branched chain polycarbonate prepared by an interfacial polycondensation reaction and (ii) 99-1 wt.% of a branched chain polycarbonate prepared by a transesterification reaction and having a viscosity-average molecular weight of 19,000-40,000 and a ratio of melt volume flow rate measured at 21.6 kg load to that at 280°C and 2.16 kg load of ≥15 is molded into the sheet.
