Abstract:

To provide a polyelectrolyte or the like which is superior in gas permeability and ion conductivity.

This is the polyelectrolyte in which at least one substituent with the total carbon number of 3 or more is substituted by the substituent containing at least one acid residue to any position of a polymer main chain including a repeating unit expressed by a general formula (1). In the general formula (1), Ar11 and Ar12 respectively denote a divalent aromatic group. R11 denotes a single bond or a divalent aliphatic group. X11 denotes a divalent electron-attracting group. X12 denotes a divalent electron-donating group, and n11 denotes an integer of 5 to 1,500.
