To provide a preparation which reduces the employment of an antioxidant as much as possible and has high stability for a long period, as an ingredient having a polyene structure is unstable, is liable to reduce its content with the passage of time, and thereby needs butylhydroxyanisol or dibutylhydroxytoluene as an antioxidant.
The preparation is prepared by emulsifying or solubilizing the ingredient having the polyene structure, an oil and 30 wt.% of water with a phospholipid and adjusting the pH of the product with a pH-adjusting agent into a neutral or alkaline property. A chelating agent and sorbitol are preferably further compounded. The preparation is preferably sealed with a multi-layered film having an oxygen-permeable layer, such as a polyolefin film, an oxygen-absorbing layer, and an oxygen-intercepting layer, such as an aluminum foil, from the inside to intercept light and the oxygen.
