Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film for laminating a metal plate suitable for a metal can which can be subjected to a severe forming process when a can or the like is formed and in which improved lamination properties, taste properties, bubbling properties, and particularly excellent bond properties after retorting can be provided.
SOLUTION: In the biaxially oriented laminated polyester film comprising two or more layers, a polyester of a nonmetallic plate side layer contains particles of 1 wt.% or less each having a shape function (a ratio of a maximum length D to a minimum length d) defined by an equation (D/d) of less than 1.1 in the film. A polyester of a metallic plate side layer contains particles of 0.05-1 wt.% each having a shape function of 1.1 or more and contains particles of 0.1 wt.% or less each having a shape function of less than 1.1.
