To provide a polyester monofilament package by which a favorable quality screen gauze for print having no fault such as shrinks and weaving bars is obtained.
A polyester monofilament package 1 is obtained by winding a polyester monofilament composed of polyethylene terephthalate, and satisfies all of following requirements (a)-(c). (a) The end of the package is formed in a taper shape, and a taper angle θ is 75° or smaller, (b) a difference between the winding diameter of the center of a winding width of the package and the winding diameter of the end of the winding width thereof is 1.0 mm or smaller, (c) the wet heat shrinkage stress variation of the polyester monofilament at a portion having a 1 mm winding thickness of the inner layer of the package is 2.0 cN/dtex or smaller.
