The polyester resin comprises (A) a specified carboxylic acid monomer unit and (B) a glycol monomer unit containing 5-40 mol% 32-72C saturated hydrocarbon compound having at least 2 hydroxy groups in one molecule, a specific ratio of polycarboxylic compound having at least 3 valency and/or a polyhydric alcohol having at least 3 valency is contained and the intrinsic viscosity [η] of the polyester resin is 0.6-1.2 dl/g. The polyester sheet comprises the polyester resin and haing a Haze value determined at 50°C, 95 %RH, and 5 h.
