The polyester resin comprises an acid component comprising terephthalic acid, an alcoholic component comprising ethylene glycol, and 0.05-10 mol% (based on 100 mol% of total acid components when the compound is an acid or acid anhydride or 100 mol% of total alcohol components when the compound is an alcohol) 4-10C compound having at least 3 ester-forming functional groups and a molecular weight of 100-300. The melt viscosity (measured at 280°C, shear rate of 100 sec-1, and L/D=10) is 100-5,000 Pa.s and intrinsic viscosity [η] measured at 25°C in a solvent mixture comprising equal weight amounts of phenol and tetrachloroethane is 0.5-1.2 di/g.
