Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical container made of polyethylene which has excellent flexibility, a barrier property, and cleanliness (freeness from fine particles), does not deform even after a sterilization treatment, and can maintain high transparency.SOLUTION: A medical container using a polyethylene resin composition comprises: 10 to 50 wt.% of high density polyethylene having specific physical properties; 20 to 70 wt.% of linear low density polyethylene; and 1 to 50 wt.% of an ethylene-based polymer blended thereto, the polymer having a density of 920 to 960 kg/m, an MFR of 0.1 to 15 g/10 minutes, two peaks in a molecular weight measurement by gel permeation chromatography, a ratio (Mw/Mn) of a weight average molecular weight (Mw) and a number average molecular weight (Mn) in a range of 2.0 to 7.0, and, when molecular weight fractionation is carried out, 0.15 or more of long-chain branch per 1000 carbon atoms of a main chain in a fraction having an Mn of 100000 or more.
