Abstract:
PURPOSE: To more easily obtain a polyimide film having a rough surface and excellent slip properties and bondability by casting a mixture comprising an aromatic polyimide soluble in organic solvents, a poly(amic acid), and an organic solvent and removing water and the solvent from the cast.
CONSTITUTION: A mixture comprising an aromatic polyimide (a) soluble in organic solvents, a poly(amic acid) (b), and an organic solvent (c) is cast. Water and the solvent are then removed from the cast. An example of the polymer (a) has repeating units represented by formula I (wherein A is a single bond, -SO2-, -CO-, etc.; Z is -S-, the group represented by formula II, etc.; and m is a positive integer). The polymer (b) preferably has repeating units represented by formula III (wherein R3 is a tetravalent organic group; R4 is a divalent organic group; and n is a positive integer).
