Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain polyisocyanurate foam excellent in heat insulating characteristics, dimensional stability, heat resistance and compression strength by reacting a terminal NCO group-containing a prepolymer and a specific polyol component in the presence of a foaming agent and a catalyst to produce a reaction product.
CONSTITUTION: High heat insulating polyisocyanurate foam is obtained by reacting a prepolymer (A) having an NCO group at its terminal (reaction product of org. polyisocyanurate and an org. compd. having at least two active hydrogen atoms, for example, toluendiisocyanate, diphenylmethanediisocyanate), aromatic polyester polyol (free glycol component content: 7 wt.% or less), a foaming agent (C) and a catalyst (D).
