Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the temp. dependence of a polynorbornene resin in a low-temp. range while retaining its inherent characteristics by compounding a low-rebound compsn. mainly comprising the polynorbornene resin with natural rubber. CONSTITUTION:A low-rebound compsn. obtd. by compounding a polynorbornene resin with a petroleum oil, a petroleum resin, a carbon black, a white filler, a vulcanizing agent, etc., is compounded with 100-300 pts.wt., pref. 150-250 pts.wt., still pref. about 200 pts.wt., natural rubber (based on 100 pts.wt. polynorbornene resin in the low rebound compsn.) to give a polynorbornene compsn. of which the temp. dependence of rebound properties has been improved in a low temp. range of -30 to 100 deg.C, esp. -30 to 20 deg.C.
