Title:
TRANSMISSION BELT AND TRANSFER OF MARK THERETO
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3100035
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the unevenness of a surface to which a belt mark is applied to the utmost by smoothing the belt mark due to an ink jet printer under heating and pressure at a time of vulcanization to transfer the same to either one of the outer and inner surfaces of a transmission belt.
SOLUTION: A belt mark 12 displayed in a back character state is printed on the surface of a mold 11 and this printing is performed by an ink jet printer. High temp. and high pressure steam are allowed to act on a unvulcanized belt sleeve 13 along with a mold 11 in such a state that the unvulcanized belt sleeve 13 is covered with the mold 11 to perform vulcanization. The belt mark 12 printed on the surface of the mold 11 is printed on the rear surface of the belt sleeve 13 by this heating and pressure and the back surface to which the belt mark 12 is transferred can be kept smooth. The vulcanized belt sleeve 14 is separated from the mold and, after the surface thereof is ground, the belt sleeve 15 is cut to obtain a completed product 17 of a flat belt.
