Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition capable of keeping rust preventing effect for a long period by including polyolefin resin and a benzotriazole derivative.
SOLUTION: A benzotriazole derivative contained in a composition is a compound represented by the formula. In the formula, R1 is a hydrogen atom, dialkyl-substituted amio alkyl group, or alkyl group; R2 is a hydrogen atom, alkyl group, or carboxyl group. R1 and R2 are not hydrogen atoms at the same time. Ethylene-ethyl acrylate copolymer, and ethylene-methyl acrylate are preferably used as the polyolefin resin used, low density polyethylene. Preferably, 0.1-30 pts.wt. benzotriazole derivative is contained in 100 pts.wt. polyolefin resin. The composition may contain a coloring agent such as carbon black.
