Title:
POLYORGANOSILOXANE HAVING A PLURALITY OF HYDROLYZABLE GROUPS AND CONTAINING AT LEAST ONE ORGANIC FUNCTIONAL GROUP
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000186147
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To obtain a polyorganosiloxane having a plurality of hydrolyzable groups and containing at least one organic functional group which is expressed by the specific formula.

This polyorganosiloxane has a plurality of hydrolyzable groups and contains at least one organic functional group of the formula: Zb-R4-(Z- SiR2nX3-n)a {R2 is H, a 1-18C monovalent hydrocarbon radical; Z is a 2-18C divalent hydrocarbon radical or the combination of the divalent hydrocarbon radical with a siloxane segment of the formula [G is a 2-18C divalent hydrocarbon radical; (c) is 1-6]; R4 is a silicon atom or a siloxane radical having at least two silicon atoms; X is a halogen, alkoxy or the like; (n) is 0, 1, 2; (a) is at least one 2; (b) is 0. 1}. The polyorganosiloxane is obtained, for example, by mixing an organic functional siloxane with a polyorganosioloxane containing at least one silicon-bonded hydrogen atom or at least one aliphatic unsaturated group in the presence of a hydrosilane-forming catalyst.
