Abstract:
To develop CPC acylase with an excellent enzymatic activity for cephalosporin C (CPC).SOLUTION: Disclosed herein are a polypeptide having a cephalosporin C (CPC) acylase activity and use thereof. More specifically, provided are a mutant CPC acylase in which a point mutation has been introduced, thereby exhibiting an improved enzymatic activity and/or stability, and use of the mutant CPC acylase to produce 7-aminocephalosporanic acid (7-ACA).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
