Abstract:
To provide a polytitanoxane having excellent optical properties such as flexibility, storage stability, or refractive index, having a flexible structure, and also having excellent storage stability, and a resin composition that comprises the polytitanoxane, is easy to make a thick film with less shrinkage of the film, and also has excellent imprintability.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a polytitanoxane that results from a polycondensation to occur between (B) titanium alkoxide or a hydrolytic partial condensate thereof and (C) a polymerizable functional group-containing monomer having a hydroxy group. The present invention also relates to a polytitanoxane that results from a polycondensation to occur among (A) an organic compound having one or more functional group(s) selected from a hydroxy group, a thiol group and a carboxyl group, the number of the functional group(s) being two or more, (B) titanium alkoxide or a hydrolytic partial condensate thereof, and (C) a polymerizable functional group-containing monomer having a hydroxy group.SELECTED DRAWING: None
