Abstract:

To provide a polytrimethylene terephthalate based polyester conjugate fiber with excellent productivity, suppressed napping of raw thread, and having excellent productivity and quality of cloth in producing cloths.

The conjugate fiber comprises at least a high viscosity component 1 composed of a polyester comprising polytrimethylene terephthalate as a main component, and satisfies following (1)-(2). (1) The conjugate fiber contains 2-50 ppm of phosphorus element. (2) The fiber has 2:98-50:50 of the spectral peak integration value ratio of the peaks belonging to the trivalent phosphorus element I3and that of the penta valent phosphorus I5in a solid31P-NMR measurement.
