PURPOSE: To provide the titled material having high strength and rich body, in high productivity, by injection molding a mixture of an inorganic filler and a thermoplastic resin mixture composed of a high molecular weight resin and a low molecular weight resin.
CONSTITUTION: The objective hard material can be prepared by the injection molding of a mixture obtained by compounding ( I ) 100pts.wt. of a resin component composed of (A) 41W90wt% of a high molecular weight thermoplastic resin having an average molecular weight of 5,000W200,000, preferably 10,000W 150,000 (preferably the inexpensive PE, PP or polystyrene) and (B) 10W59wt% of a low molecular weight thermoplastic resin having a ring and ball softening point of 60W200°C, preferably 80W200°C and an average molecular weight of 300W2,000, preferably 500W1,800 (e.g. rosin, petroleum resin, wax, etc.) with (II) 150W900pts.wt., preferably 200W800pts.wt. of an inorganic filler such as inorganic powder having an average particle diameter of 0.01W50μ, glass fibers having length of ≤6mm, etc.
