Abstract:
To provide a porous structure for vehicle front grille which prevents rust on a front grille while keeping its strength, and dispenses with plating for corrosion prevention.SOLUTION: A porous structure for vehicle front grille is a porous structure which has a base material formed from a composite material containing a thermoplastic resin and a carbon fiber, and has a plurality of through holes penetrating from one end face to the other end face formed therein, where on the one end face and the other end face, an opening total area of the plurality of through holes is 10-90% based on the total area of the end faces, the composite material contains 5-60 wt.% of the carbon fiber, and a ratio of the carbon fiber with a fiber length of 0.05-1.0 mm is 70 wt.% or more based on the whole carbon fiber.SELECTED DRAWING: None
